Round Ireland Summer Cruise

June 2010

Following on from 2009's success we have set our dates for the 2010 Round Ireland Cruise.

The cruise will be broken into three week long legs, ensuring that on each leg we will have plenty of time to explore the coast and visit as many anchorages and harbours as possible. On Legs 2 and 3 we may even pop over to Scotland, The Isle of Mann and Wales for a change of scenery.This is a great opportunity to build your experience and miles in unfamiliar waters.

You will be cruising on Assarain II our Sigma 38 with a professional Yachtmaster Instructor and four other crew.

You can choose which of the following week long legs you would like join us for.

13th June to 19th June Kinsale-Galway

20th June to 26th June Galway-Belfast

Belfast to Kinsale via Scotland or Wales 27th June-3rd July

This will be a fantastically challenging and enjoyable cruise.

Who:

This would be an ideal introduction to Coastal-Offshore sailing for those sailors with some cruising experience. As the cruise is skippered by a Yachtmaster Instructor there is always expert tuition at hand. This is also an ideal opportunity to gain some mileage if working towards Yachtmaster coastal certification. The Irish coast offers a changeling cruising ground with navigation hazards dotted all over the coast ensuring that your pilotage and tidal calculations get a good refreshing.

How much:
This price includes all food while onboard, the hire of leggings ,jacket and all other equipement needed.

€1,050 per berth per 7 day leg.

Weather:

If the weather does not look favorable an alternative destination will be chosen, possibly Wales or Scotland. Or a full refund will be issued.
