Summer 2008 is here!!

With the help of some pleasant weather in early May it really feels like Summer is here. It's that time of the year to finalize your sailing plans for this season. As usual we have a wide range of cruising options available, from racing in Cork Week, cruising to Brittany or participating on an ISA or RYA cruising course. 2008 has been an exciting year for us with the opening of our new office and the successful launch of Sovereign Yacht Sales. We now have a wide range of second hand yachts to suit all budgets, check out www.yachtsales.ie for our full list.

New Sovereign Sailing and Sovereign Yacht Sales Office.

We are delighted to announce that our new office and class room in Kinsale is now open. Our new facility is ideally located on Lower O'Connell behind kinsale Yacht Club. We have all our Elan and pre-owned boat information on hand and have the capacity to run low ratio theory instruction on navigation, weather etc. We will teach a maximum of four students for these theory sessions.

Our office is open six days a week from 08:30 to 18:00 do drop in to have a chat or call James to arrange a meeting.

Sovereign Yacht Sales have launched a new site dedicated to new and pre-owned yacht sales www.yachtsales.ie . This site is linked to the www.yachtworld.com world wide brokerage network offering access to thousands of boats for sale. Contact james@yachtsales.ie if you have any brokerage quires.


Assarain wins Sovereigns Week 2007

Assarain our sigma 38 with Brian Reeves skippering won the white sails division in Sovereigns week. It all came down to the last race with four boats all in the running for overall victory. Assarain got a third place which was just enough for victory. The top three boats were separated by less that one point.
