Sail Cork: Experience Kinsale from a new perspective.
If you're looking for an adventurous & healthy activity sailing may have the answer.
There's no need to don a wetsuit, all cruises are run aboard our cruising yachts based at the Trident Marina Kinsale.
You can choose from a day or half day sail.
A half day will have you sailing the yacht to either the Old Head of Kinsale or around the Sovereign rocks giving you a chance to get a feel for trimming the sails and steering the boat. Your professional skipper will encourage you to get involved in the sailing of the yacht; alternatively you may sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
A full day sail will allow you more time to explore the surrounding coastline and the beautiful sheltered harbour of Oysterhaven. We will anchor the yacht in Oysterhaven, where you can enjoy a fresh lunch provided by one of Kinsales fine chefs. After lunch and a bit of relaxation you can put your new found sailing skills into practice while cruising back to Kinsale.
Sailing Times
- Morning: 10:30 to 13:00
- Afternoon: 14:00 to 16:30
Sunset cruise: 18:00 to 20:30
Price
- Half Day: 50 euro per person, min 3 people onboard. 120 euro for 2 or less people
- Full Day 10:00 to 16:30 : 100 euro per person, min 3 people. 240 euro for 2 or less people

Experience the sense of freedom and self sufficency of eating, sleeping and traveling on one of our sailing yachts. In addition to our established routes we can offer you a bespoke charter specificley designed for you and your family or friends.
2 Days sailing and 1 nights accommodation board a yacht in Kinsale.
You will join us at our base in the Trident Hotel, Kinsale at 14:00 on either the Saturday or Wednesday.
14:00 Meet, greet and safety brief
14:30 Set Sail to explore the Kinsale coast and learn the ropes. We may sail out to the Old Head of Kinsale, Oysterhaven or Sandycove.
19:00 Back alongside marina Kinsale, for a glass of Bubbly
20:00 Dinner ashore(not included) and experience Kinsale, it’s completely up to you if you would like to join the others on-board for dinner ashore or do your own thing. For safety reasons everyone staying on-board the yacht will need to have returned by 23:30.

On-Board accommodation.
Each yacht has three double cabins, the accommodation is comfortable and warm however it would be a stretch to descried it as luxury hotel surrounds. Please follow this link to see our fleet of yachts, which yacht we use depends on the date and other bookings. We will have a maximum of 6 people plus your skipper on-board.

Courtmacsherry and Back,
2 days 1 night.
Experience sailing around the famous Old Head of Kinsale.
This cruise is a fantastic combination of sailing and walking experiences which will have you sailing along the famous Old Head peninsulia and into Courtmacsherry bay. We take a leisurely approach and you will only be sailing for around 4 hours each day.
The historic picturesque fishing village of Courtmacsherry is nestled in the North West corner of Courtmac Bay. Courtmacsherry is renowned for it's local walking routes along the Seven heads penninsulia. why not explore one of the walks and we'll pick you up by boat along the way.
Courtmacsherry village is one of the true gems of West Cork – it has a wealth of natural beauty and activities such as sailing, horse riding, angling, beautiful walks, beaches and coves, shore fishing, local bars and restaurants that offer a warm welcome to all !

€250 per person, which includes breakfast and 2 lunches.
